The main 8 process of making Yellow Tea consist of withering (fixing the green), first wrapping, 2nd firing, re-wrapping, 3rd firing, settling, 4th firing, and roasting. The most important process of making yellow tea is “baohuang”, which rely entirely of the craftsmanship of the tea maker. Tea Master Liu Qianghong has 40 years of Mengding Mountain tea making experience, which was awarded the Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor honour, capable to restore 5 ancient tribute tea making including yellow tea.
